Mike Doyle

Michael Doyle is a Detroit-based experience designer and cultural critic focused on the spaces between design, art, music and culture. He has designed several record covers and other print materials for Ghostly artists Solvent & Matthew Dear, science museums, auto show displays and art directed non-traditional media campaigns for organizations such as Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit. He co-founded the Dorkwave DJ collective in 2003 and is currently part of DJ/performance group Dethlab with his fiance and creative partner Bethany Shorb.

In addition to maintaining the arts & culture blog Burnlab.net for the past ten years, he has lectured around the country on physical experience design & visual communication and contributes to online design journals Core77.com, Archinect.com and Cpluv.com.
