Heart Is Strange EP

Band member Benjamin Curtis recently said of the upcoming single that ”’Heart Is Strange’, from the start, was clearly it’s own animal. It was a song we took on tour with us for most of 2009, changing it’s shape over and over again. Finally, influenced by a mind-bending night out we had dancing and listening to music after a show in Barcelona, it finally found it’s final (and best) form in early 2010. We did this shorter edit of the song after the album was finished, and probably for the first time in rock and roll history, I have to admit that I prefer the edit.”

As fervent Pantha Du Prince fans and both fans and friends of Phantogram, Ben was particularly excited for the remixes, praising White Sea’s remix as “the real stunner here…White Sea is a brand new project from Morgan Kibby, who you probably know as the star of the last M83 album ‘Saturdays=Youth’. I really can’t believe what a great job she did with this song, and I can’t wait to hear where she goes from here.”
