Today, Tycho releases their brand new album Epoch, the final album in the trilogy beginning with 2011’s Dive, then 2014’s Awake. Earlier this summer Tycho released their first single “Division” and just two weeks ago released their second single and title track, “Epoch.”
The album is available digitally now, and CDs, LPs, and limited edition red vinyl are available for pre-order with free shipping for a limited time.
The Ghostly Store has begun shipping select releases, clothing and goods directly from the UK to the rest of the world – we invite our international friends to take advantage of faster and more affordable shipping alternatives (including on shirts featuring the above design by Eugene Carland).
“Epoch” is the latest single from Scott Hansen’s continually expanding project Tycho and the keystone of the forthcoming album. The new album is at once a departure and an evolution for Tycho; honing the sonic aesthetic of Dive while drawing on the kinetic energy of Awake, it explores darker themes and new musical territory.
Our newest installment in the GhostlyCast series is a mix from Aaron Davis, founder of the Acid Camp parties in Los Angeles. Featuring artwork by Bill Rebholz, the mix spans classics like Maurizio and DVS1 to the first release on the new Acid Camp label by Seattle-based Simic.
Toronto’s Nautiluss announces a new EP – Reflections – set to arrive on Spectral Sound this month. The EP was announced with a stream of the ethereal “Kodama,” but you may already recognize “Lonely Planet” from our 2014 compilation Ghostly Swim 2.
