[FEATURE] DRIP.FM IN THE NEW YORK TIMES

Our friends over at Drip.fm have been celebrating since The New York Times included them in a story on the rise of independent music subscription services, and seeing as how Ghostly helped inspire the creation of Drip, we wanted to show our support, too.

The article features an interview with Sub Pop’s director of sales, Richard Laing, who explains how he sees the label’s partnership with Drip as fostering the kind of brand loyalty that helped drive their success in the early ‘90s. Ghostly has felt very much the same way since we launched our Drip subscription, GMS, to which we just added the latest single from Christopher Willits’ next full-length album, OPENING. Check out the lush “CLEAR” on Drip, and read the New York Times piece here.
