Shigeto’s new album No Better Time Than Now is inspired by the idea that now is the time to do what you’ve always wanted to do in your life. You are invited to use the hashtag #nobettertime and #shigeto on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Google+ & Vine. Make a personal statement of what there is no better time than now for you to do what you love.
On release day (August 20th), Shigeto will choose most inspiring submission to win two tickets to a show and a merch prize. The prize will consist of a shigeto-themed tee, two tickets to a show in your town or closest city, choice of colored vinyl LP, standard black vinyl LP or CD, and digital download.
We’ve long-admired Warby Parker for their beautifully crafted eyewear and belief that good design shouldn’t have to cost a fortune. We were fortunate to find in the Warby design team a shared passion for excellence. It seemed only natural for us to join forces with Warby Parker to create the Curtis Sunglasses.
The Curtis Sunglasses are the result of a months long collaborative design process of refining shape, color, and the minute details that distinguish a great pair of frames. Available in a polished revolver black or a matte Ghostly grey, the subtle yet bold form of the frames has been inspired by some of our favorite design.
Following the SW9 12” released earlier this year, this week Fort Romeau returns with a two-track single, Jetée / Desire. Fluid and full of versatile and organic instrumentation, “Jetée” is fit for both large soundsystems and epic summer travels, while the b-side, “Desire,” has a kinetic, classic acid handclap under a kaleidoscopic house rhythm. As a whole, it’s more laid back in BPM than Greene has previously offered, but spotlights his songwriting ability.
