Our second art edition from the Ann Arbor-based paper artist and engineer Matthew Shlian is now available. Conceived over a flurry of emails in the spring of this year, The Tessellation Series evokes the joy of improvisation, beginning as a distinct starburst pattern and evolving into a seemingly random series of tessellations. Presented as a series of five distinct formations, the edition is limited to fifty pieces in total.
Our Dark Arts series of graphic tees returns this summer with a taught collection of enigmatic works by Ghostly collaborator Danny Scales, of PhilistineDSGN. Conceived and curated by Scales since the fall of 2009, the Dark Arts series has featured an evolving roster of artists including Andy Gilmore, Sougwen Chung, Matthew Shlian, Script & Seal, and more. The latest collection features a handpicked selection of tees, each fabric and cut chosen for the specific work printed.
