Ghostly International is a multi-platform cultural curator, a tightly knit aesthetic universe fulfilling the roles of art gallery, design house, clothing designer, technology innovator, music-publishing company-and, yes, record label-in one. In the years since its birth in 1999, Ghostly has grown from a boutique label known for its experimental-pop and techno acumen to an internationally recognized platform for the work of the world's best visual artists, designers, technologists, and musicians.

Ghostly International seeks a creative and organized editorial, social media, and multimedia production manager.

As the Ghostly community grows it is vital to have a point person whose primary responsibility is to engage with, document, and editorialize the culture to foster its continued healthy growth and connections made. This is the amalgam of thoughtful editorial, natural style, and medium-specific communications (i.e. “social”).


  •    • Engage the community through our social channels, blog, Twitter, and by attending events and meet-ups.
  •    • Write copy for artist and release bios, newsletters, e-mails, marketing materials, etc.
  •    • Attend events, Ghostly-related and otherwise, and produce photos, video, etc.
  •    • Monitor and engage creative culture and share them with the community.
  •    • Create audience and context-specific communication materials like newsletters, group emails, and presentations.
  •    • Collaborate directly with our label, store, and publishing divisions to share insights and help create more cross-company and external communication.
  •    • Report to CEO to develop and implement strategies and necessary materials.
  •    • Promote and evangelize community activities internally.
  •    • Monitor and measure the success of community engagement. Identify and report on community trends to internal teams.
  •    • Network with artistic community. Train and empower artists and team to participate on a more significant engagement level.

The ideal candidate has deep experience in the music, art, and/or fashion industry, community building, previous writing & multimedia production experience, and is an active participant in the local NYC music community. You must be based in New York City, and available to start immediately on a part-time basis.

Compensation: Commensurate with experience level
