A longstanding friendship has allowed Koln’s Daso Franke and Pawas Gupta to work closely, establishing a force even greater than the sum of their parts. The dynamic duo burst onto the scene as a duo with 2007’s Night Express EP on Flash Recordings, winning fans as diverse as Umek, Simon Baker, Jimpster and Dubfire.

As solo artists, Daso and Pawas are no strangers to wax. Daso is known for his

work on My Best Friend and Connaisseur and made his Spectral Debut in 2007 with the hypnotic “Meine Idee EP”. Pawas’s releases for Squonk and Fear of Flying have made him a name to watch.

Together, the two combine their cool melodics and understated rhythmic sensibilities into a very original and appealing formula. Together the pair have recorded the incendiary “KKB” and the sublime Det EP for Spectral Sound.
